Good morning to you all. I trust you had a wonderful Thanksgiving with family and friends and that you are not suffering from PTC – Post Turkey Consumption.
I was very fortunate to be able to spend my Thanksgiving in the tropical climate of Jupiter, Fl. Normally I would have been out west, in Arizona, enjoying “turkey day” with family. This year I had made a decision to stay at home and not to travel over the holiday. Having just finished two and one half weeks of travel, I thought a few days at home would be a good thing. As I was settling back in, a friend of mine called the first of the week to ask if I had any plans for the thanksgiving holiday. When I indicated that I had no real plans, he extended an invitation for me to travel south, avoid a “home alone” Thanksgiving and share the holiday with his family. Considering the cold and wet weather we were experiencing, I realized that it was an offer I just could not refuse.
With a little time on my hands between meals, I was able to get out and photographically enjoy the area. Having grown up in Florida, enjoying a short sleeve and shorts kind of Thanksgiving was not an unusual experience for me. To say the least, it was perfect weather and ended up being a wonderful Thanksgiving for me. Thanks to Marc and his family for the invitation and for allowing me the opportunity to be part of their holiday celebration.
Enjoy and Happy Cyber Monday!!!!
