Merry Christmas! I’m sitting here in Phoenix, AZ with my sister and her family enjoying a spectacular Arizona Christmas. For most everyone reading this, Saint Nick has come and gone and most of you are in the “dispose of wrapping paper mode”.

It seems like only yesterday that I was here in February celebrating the birth of my great nephew, Greyson. Now I am sitting wondering where did 2017 go? I look back on the past year and I can truly say that I am extremely thankful for my family and all of my “family friends”. Like years past, I was extremely blessed to spend a fair amount of time traveling and photographing around the country while taking advantage of the travel to hang out with many of my closest friends.

One of the things I look forward to the most for my yearly Christmas blog is shooting Christmas themed photographs to accompany the blog. Like past holiday blogs one of the photographs may include one Santa’s beautiful helpers. So I felt compelled to continue the tradition and enlisted “Stanta” –Stan Miller and one of his beautiful helpers, April. I am not sure Mrs. Claus would approve.

In addition to the Santa photo, this year I went a little further and using St. Louis based model, Ashley Fletcher, we attempted to create a golden Christmas wonderland. I enlisted the help of two friends for their vision and holiday assistance. Ms. Ginger Burgess assisted on the headdress and styling and Matt Rainey helped with the set design. I think all and all the Golden Goddess inspired images far succeeded our expectations.
