A very lovely Tuesday morning to you all. It was an absolutely beautiful Labor Day weekend here in North Alabama. The weather could not have been any more gracious and wonderful for the last holiday weekend of the summer. And on top of all that it was the start of the College Football weekend. Could I be any more excited? Roll Tide Roll!

I spent the majority of the weekend at the lake and at the pool. It was the perfect water weekend. Both days were visually majestic with large beautiful cloudbanks rolling in from the southeast. It could not have been a better Labor Day weekend to spend time with friends.

Saturday I got to spend the day at Lake Guntersville sailing. It was the perfect day with winds that pushed out vessel effortlessly across the lake. Generally around this time of year you are more inclined to motor to a swimming hole and spend the majority of day hugging a float and koozie.

Fortunately the winds prevailed and we spent the majority of the day sailing from around the lake. The only thing more amazing was the view and the incredible clouds that offered the crescendo on our sailing experience.

As we headed northwest in to the channel we came close to the new mountain community called the Reserve. It truly is an amazing residential development and the view from the lake is stunning with the large houses dotting the mountainside.

As the day came to an end, the sun played hide and seek with us. I could not think of a better way to end a perfect summer sailing day. Thanks to my dear friends Phil and Kathy for inviting me along for a wonderful day of sailing on Lake Guntersville. I trust yours was a memorable weekend as well. ENJOY!
