A Very Happy Monday to you all. So we have had one of those weeks of rain, where the animals were beginning to line up in pairs. We have had rains but nothing quite compares to what we have seen over the last week. And then just like that, yesterday was the perfect day – Beautiful and Sunny

I had driven down to Birmingham on Saturday in the torrential downpour to attend the Black Jacket Symphony show featuring the music from Queen with my beautiful and dear friend Jennifer. On Sunday we woke to the amazing sunlight beaming through our windows. It was something that we had not seen in weeks but yet there it was, in all in its radiant glory. We had a fabulous brunch on Sunday and then headed home.

Once I had returned and unpacked, I decided to head back out and enjoy what was left of the day. As the sun was setting, I ended up out on a road that I had traveled numerous times before and remembered that there was this stellar setting with two lonely trees towering over a harvest field. Hoping this may be the spot I pulled over and watched as the sun began to set in the west. As I watched I knew it was time to grab my camera and capture the last of the amazing day.

Given the number of days that we have had rain and the prediction that we are in for more of the same it was an amazing day to grab some fresh air, be outside and enjoy. I hope you were able to get out and take advantage of it. Word is the rain is on it ways. Oh by the way, did I mention that I love shooting sunsets? Enjoy!!!
