It was another week of weather paradise and another weekend of exceptional football. Could it get any better than this? I hope that your favorite team did well this weekend and you find yourself looking forward to the week ahead.
I write you this morning from the wonderful city of St. Louis, MO. where we have closed the door, instructing, on another successful photographic workshop. Exceptional weather, great models and incredible locations all made for a great weekend getting together with old friends and making new ones.
I always enjoy coming to St. Louis with its stunning river front skyline that includes the Gateway Arch. Known as the Gateway to the West, the arch stands 630 feet and is the tallest man-made monument in the United States. Although I have visited the city numerous times, I never seem to lose my excitement for seeing the Arch. It is, itself, an awe inspiring structure and one that can be seen from most any vantage point as you approach the city. As the sun sets and the city lights radiate in the night, the Arch appears to take on an entirely new presence as it stands proud and becomes the honorary “guardian” of the city.
As I fly home today, enjoy the beauty of St. Louis and the Gateway to the West that I leave behind!!
