A very good Monday to you! I hope your weekend was a great one. I finally made it back from my extended trip to Tampa. Car troubles plagued me on the way down as well as on my initial attempt to return home. For all of you traveling to spend Thanksgiving with family and friends I wish you safe travels and a joyful holiday!

As most of you might know, if you have been reading my blog, that I had traveled to Tampa to sale my parent’s home. It was a very bittersweet issue having to sale my childhood residence but the good news is I was able to get a contract on it in five days. I was totally unaware that the demand for houses in my neighborhood was that prevalent and all of the individuals that were interested basically lived or knew someone within a couple of blocks of the house. All it took were a couple of “4 Sale” signs in the front yard. I spent the majority of time cleaning out the remaining items in the house and showing it to potential buyers. Looking around the house I realized this would very well be the last time I got to see it and spent a majority of my free time reflecting back on all the fond memories of my time growing up.

I know this will not be my last visit to Tampa because I am ever so grateful to have so many wonderful friends that still live there. It will not be the same coming back there but I am glad that the house has found a new family to begin to build theirs memories within those walls. I am also very happy to hear my hometown is enjoying a favorable resurgence and that downtown Tampa is once again becoming a thriving and safe area to visit.

To all my friends that I got to see while I was in the area and offered their hospitality and homes to me I am ever so humbled and grateful for you kindness and generosity. It truly means the world to me and I can only think that my Mom and Dad are looking down and are as well so very thankful for your willingness to be part of the closing chapter. Thank YOU!!!!

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!
