A very good Monday morning to you all. My thoughts and prayers go out to all the residents in Florida in hopes that they will be spared from the devastating hurricane that is bearing down on them.

A few weeks back I was traveling in Texas splitting my time between Amarillo and Austin and avoiding the horrific damage that Hurricane Harvey left in it’s wake. As I write my Monday blog I am concerned about my friends in Florida where I was born and raised. I grew up in Tampa, Fl. where we weathered a few storms during my growth years. I am concerned for the city I grew up in but more concerned for those that live there and have stayed.

It has been difficult for me to focus on this weeks blog knowing that the state of Florida and those that live there might be forever affected by the impeding Hurricane Irma and all I can do is sit and pray for their safety. As I sat here pondering images that I had captured for this weeks blog they seem so irrelevant to the imagery I am seeing on TV. As I ponder those images. I felt the best that I could do is hope for better days ahead and show a few of my fondest memories of a state I call HOME. I wish you all safe havens and a speedy recovery for what is a diamond of beauty and love in the US. All My Best!
