A very happy Monday morning to you. I hope you are looking forward to a very productive and enjoyable week!

I decided to take a few days off and travel to Tennessee and spend some time visiting with friends. I have been staying close to home with all the recent work I had, so the trip was a welcomed diversion and the visit was long over due.

While visiting with my friends Lyle and April in Cleveland, TN I had the pleasure to hang out in his “man cave” which houses a few prized autos including a 1965 Shelby Cobra. For any one that is a sport car enthusiast this vehicle is quite legendary. Carroll Shelby, an American automotive designer developed the vehicle from a British manufactured sports car – the AC Ace 2-seater roadster. This year is the 50th anniversary celebration of the first Shelby Cobra. It is a road beast powered by a 427 cubic inch motor.

Lyle was more than accommodating to bring the vehicle out and allow me to use it as a prop while photographing April, who has modeled for me for many years. To say the least it provided an exceptional backdrop for our shoot. For now, enjoy the “backdrop!”
