Good Morning to you all and if you are like me; you may be needing that second cup of coffee this morning after having stayed up late watching the Oscars.  I was lucky enough to switch over to NBC during a commercial break and find them airing a tribute to SNL – Saturday Night Live. It was definitely a good alternative antidote for this years show.

When I am in town one of my favorite areas to photograph is Cummings Research Park. The park is the second largest research park in the U.S. and fifth overall in the world and is host to many prominent Fortune 500 corporations. Most of those companies have put a signature statement on the park with the design of their building, both from a practical, as well as, an artistic architectural flair. With these majestic giants, the park offers many opportunities, combined with Mother Nature, to capture that perfect photographic moment and last week was no exception.

One of my favorite locations to photograph is the Adtran corporate campus with its Adtran East and Adtran South office complex’s set in a natural setting around a pond. I have been very fortunate over the years to have them as a client and the campus with its towering buildings has become one of my favorite photographic subjects

With a storm looming last week I headed out looking for the perfect backdrop and I found myself once again “on campus” waiting for the perfect moment. As I was waiting for the sun to set in the west, I turned to view the east complex and was presented with a dramatic moment. The lighting and the sky were just magical.

Once I caught my breath (and the image) I remembered to look back to the west and captured the last fleeting moments of the sun peeking through the clouds and the breezeway of the South complex. Not a bad 2 for 1 kind of evening.

ENJOY!!!!!
